2nd Year Blogging Anniversary and GIVEAWAY (CLOSED)

So if you see by the title of the blog post, it has been over two years, on the 15th June 2015, since my first blog post. I said in my last blog post that a lot has changed in a year but I feel like the thing that has changed most is the layout because let's face it I haven't really been consistent this year. (I blame university.) Although my posts are inconsistent I still love blogging and come up with so many ideas that I want to write about and would love to become more consistent over the next year but we will see how that goes. Blogging comes with a great community of people and Twitter chats have made me find so many books that I love and interact with great people so I am happy to be part of this community.

So last year I completed a mini-survey which spoke about books that I like and want to read to see if I might have changed in a year so I thought that this was something I will do again...

Q1) Favourite Book

The Book ThiefThe Book Thief by Marcus Zusak- OK so this one hasn't changed. A book still has not beaten how I feel about this book. Let the hunt continue...

Q2) What book do you hope to read in the next year?

Northern Lights (His Dark Materials, #1)Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman- With the Book of Dust coming out in November this is a book series that I really need to catch up with.

Q3) Most anticipated read?

FreshersIt Only Happens in the MoviesOK, I have three which are It Only Happens In The Movies by Holly Bourne, Freshers by Tom Ellen and Lucy Ivision and the new John Green book that got announced yesterday! I can't believe we are getting a new John Green book, I am so excited!!!!!

Q4) Which topic would you most like to write about on the blog within the next year?

I mentioned in the last one that I would like to write about the concept of strong female characters in general and this is something that I would love to do.

Q5) Favourite Blog Post?

My 20 things I have learned in 20 years blog post.

Q6) Book you hate?

When Everything Feels Like the MoviesOK, hate is a strong word but I really dislike When It Feels Like The Movies because I didn't like the main character but I can see why the story was written.

Q7) Which author do you want to meet and why?

Holly Black- I just like her books.

Q8) Current read?

Eliza and Her MonstersEliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia- It is really good so far!!!

Q9) Next on your TBR?

Hollow City (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #2)Hollow City by Ransom Riggs- I just have a feeling that it is the right time to continue with this series.

Turning 21?

You see I have put this blog post for such a long time but tomorrow the inevitable will happen and I will turn 21. I don't know why I decided to add and to keep a question mark in the title because it's not like it is going to happen it will but maybe it's because I just don't feel like it. Queue all the age is nothing but a number talk but I  guess that this is not what this blog post is going to be about.

Being 21 has always been the number that I have aspired to, the one that has been in the back of my mind for the longest time. When I was 18, I knew that at 21 I would be in my final year of university, which I am, and that I would graduate this year and on to the future. But am I right?

I feel like so much has changed it want this magic number must be, given the bears with keys in their hands as if a sign that this would be the time that we would get keys of our own and would gain so much independent. But this is it, it is just a dream.

That's not going to happe…

Book Review: Ascension by Victor Dixen

*I am reviewing this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. *

She has signed up for love.
She has signed up for a one-way ticket.

Even if the dream turns to a nightmare, it is too late for regrets.

Book Review:

I was excited to read Ascension as Hot Key were describing this as Love Island in space and much like the rest of the UK, I have been hooked by the show that has just finished. This description is so accurate bu…

I hadn't heard of the Curse of Time when I received an email to be part of the blog tour but being a person who loves to read YA fantasy I knew I had to give it a read. I really enjoyed The Curse of Time and it is a real…
